First and foremost, our homes are where we want to feel safe and protected at all times. In case they are located in remote areas, detached houses are a desired target for burglars. Therefore, one feels at ease when cameras monitor the activities on the property.

Another example of their efficiency is in shops, where thefts occasionally occur despite other security measures, like alarm systems. It is particularly sensible for CCTV to be installed in shops where security officers are not present.

PUBLIC AREAS

Finally, outdoor public areas have proven to be the locations where criminals act regularly, from minor offenders like pickpockets to the most frightening off all, terrorists.

CONCLUSION
