Ljubljana ZOO

Introduction

The aim of this report is to present living conditions for animals at Ljubljana ZOO.

Endangered animal species

The advantage of this ZOO is that it provides a protected home to numerous endangered species, such as elephants, tigers, chimpanzees, and sea lions.

Living space

Most animals seem content in their enclosures. However, carnivores, such as bears, tigers, and cheetahs, which are used to living in vast spaces, pace up and down all day. Another problem is that the terrarium is really small compared to the natural habitat of reptiles and insects.

Living conditions

The ZOO is maintained with care. All the animals are monitored and fed regularly. Their enclosures, pools and cages are clean and tidy.

Conclusion

Ljubljana ZOO serves as an important educational institution as well as a tourist attraction. It is home to many endangered species that are safe here. However, the idea of expanding their living area should be considered.
